Mt Hood Skiway
One of the stranger ski lifts built, the skiway ran from Government Camp to Timberline Lodge, OR. Promoters envisioned a second tramway from the lodge to the summit of the mountain. It was built with two city buses and techniques developed in the logging industry. It ran from 1950 to 1956, and was dismantled in 1960.
